The Decisiv Leadership Team
Decisiv’s award-winning team is led by a group of technology veterans with extensive collective experience, having worked together across six successful ventures since 1974.
Dick Hyatt
President and CEO
Dick Hyatt has more than 25 years of experience building, managing, and growing early stage technology companies, including SAGE Systems, Automation Partners, Hayes-Ligon (sold to ADP Dealer Services), and Amteva Technology (sold to Cisco Systems). Prior to his tenure at Decisiv, Mr. Hyatt was a Director of Marketing in Cisco’s Unified Communications business. Mr. Hyatt is responsible for all aspects of building a world-class team of industry and technology experts, and delivering high-quality, profit-improving products and services leading to long-term customer satisfaction.
Dean Dodrill
Chief Strategy Officer & SVP Development
Dean Dodrill has held various technology-related positions over the past 20 years, including senior project management positions with NCR and AT&T. He founded Amteva Technologies in 1995 and, as its President and CEO, led the company through design and development of the industry’s first internet-based Unified Communications software platform. Mr. Dodrill secured funding for Amteva through strategic technology partners, including AT&T, Bell Canada, and Cisco Systems. In 1999, Mr. Dodrill sold Amteva to Cisco Systems.
Satish Joshi
Chief Technology Officer
Satish Joshi has spent the past 20 years designing and developing software for a variety of global companies. His tenure with TIFR, Pegasus Software, Amteva, and Cisco ensures broad knowledge of technical and business-related issues of software development. He applies this knowledge to Decisiv’s state-of-the-art software and network-based services. As Decisiv’s CTO, Mr. Joshi has built a technology team with exceptional networking, database, application, and telecommunications experience. Before joining Decisiv, members of Mr. Joshi’s team have designed highly scalable and secure network environments, built database applications, and created Internet-based voice and messaging solutions.
David Settle
CFO
David Settle, as an early investor in Decisiv, a member of its Board of Directors, and an advisor over the past several quarters, has been instrumental in assisting Decisiv in banking and financing activities. Mr. Settle’s experience includes executive management and CFO roles at CeraTech, the developer of the first commercially viable, environmentally sustainable cement made from 100% recycled or renewable materials, and Softspikes, the company that invented removable plastic golf cleats.
Peter Garahan
EVP
Peter Garahan has more than 30 years of business experience, 18 spent in the technology and telecommunications sector. He has served as a Senior Financial Executive of three publicly traded companies – Vice President and Treasurer of UNC, Inc. (NYSE), Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Intersolv (NASDAQ), and Vice Chairman and CFO of Teligent, Inc. (NASDAQ). He has also been a senior operating executive of four private companies – Chief Operating Officer of Chartway Technologies, President and CEO of Medical Decision Systems (MDS), Executive Vice President of Mitchell International, and Chief Operating Officer of Amteva Technologies.
Pete Russo
SVP Product Management & Solutions
Pete Russo, with over 25 years of experience in high-tech industries, heads product management and professional services at Decisiv. Mr. Russo’s previous roles included managing large technology projects and formulating market and product strategies in the telecommunications services market for BT (formerly British Telecom) and Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bell Communications Research).
Kim MacCormack
SVP Technology & Engineering
Kim MacCormack has over 20 years of software engineering and management experience with applications for various commercial, nonprofit, and government entities. She has served as Director of Engineering, New Initiatives at the LivingSocial online marketplace, Software Architect for IBM SmartCloud Application Services, and was President and Founder of a local software consultancy.
David Bock
VP Engineering Operations
David Bock brings significant executive, engineering, development operations, and site reliability engineering experience to Decisiv. Prior to joining Decisiv, Mr. Bock was the DevOps services lead at Excella Consulting, a provider of software development services to government agencies, commercial organizations, and nonprofits. His more than 25 years of experience in software engineering in the federal and commercial space includes serving as Director of Engineering, Special Projects for LivingSocial and as a co-founder of the technology firm CodeSherpas. He is also the Executive Director of the Loudoun Computer Science Initiative, a nonprofit bringing supplemental and extracurricular computer science education to K-12 students.
Tyler Dooling
VP Platform
Tyler Dooling is a dynamic software engineer with a diverse technical background stemming from a broad set of industries. Tyler has developed applications ranging from embedded systems to cloud platforms and brings strong architectural and engineering leadership to Decisiv. He devotes his primary focus and creativity to building a flexible framework of applications and APIs that serve as the engine that drives SRM.
Mark Wasilko
VP Marketing
Mark Wasilko is a proven professional with experience in new software start ups, tactical and strategic marketing, new market development, business development and sales, and distribution and channel management. His experience includes serving at CeraTech, Inc., a next-generation “green” construction materials technology company, and at GHGS LLC, a GE and AES venture focused on alternative energy projects. At Decisiv, Mr. Wasilko leads Decisiv’s efforts to advance its position as a technology leader for companies looking to drive unrivaled commercial asset performance.

Scott Darnell
VP OEM
Scott Darnell brings to Decisiv nearly 20 years of experience with a strong focus on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions in the commercial and federal sectors. His background includes IT and business consulting, sales, service, and sales management at Siebel Systems, as well as serving as the President and CEO of Pronghorn Consulting, LLC, where his team delivered highly specialized CRM, technical, and business consulting services to the Department of Homeland Security for nearly five years. Mr. Darnell is focusing on supporting and developing manufacturer and component supplier relationships across heavy-, medium-, and light-duty trucks.
Uwe Münch

Uwe Münch joins Decisiv after serving as Sr. Director, OEM Business EMEA at Verizon Connect in Berlin, Germany. An experienced business director with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry, he has strong business development skills in Business Planning, Sales, International Business, Fleet Management, and Product Marketing.
Andy Turnbull
VP Customer Solutions
Andy Turnbull brings extensive commercial asset service experience to Decisiv’s Value Added Reseller (VAR) business development group. For the past 16 years, he held senior roles at the Volvo Group in Customer Satisfaction, Quality & Operations, and was responsible for Latin American parts and service for Mack Trucks. Most recently, Mr. Turnbull had global responsibility for parts sales, field service, and warehousing operations at Terex Trucks, a division of Volvo Construction Equipment. Mr. Turnbull is focusing on Value Added Reseller relationships in new business segments and on new market opportunities.

Shirley Ann Preston
VP HR & Administration
Shirley Ann Preston has held various senior level roles with AT&T, Amteva, and Cisco Systems over the past 30 years. She has been responsible for a diverse range of functions, including human resources, employment law compliance, payroll, accounting, facilities management, purchasing, and project management. As Decisiv’s VP Human Resources & Administration, she oversees daily operations and implementation of institutional human resource management programs, policies, procedures, and employee benefits.
