Decisiv Inc., a provider of service-relationship management solutions for fleets, announced Explore, a data analytics reporting tool that gives customers greater control in drilling down into the raw service-related data and customizing reports.
The company also rolled out its Fleet Mobile application.
Decisiv made its announcements during a press conference at American Trucking Associations’ annual Management Conference & Exhibition here Oct. 29.
“As our customers become increasingly sophisticated about using actionable data to drive better business decisions, the demand for custom reports and analytics is growing,” CEO Dick Hyatt said in a statement.
“Adopters of our platform are reducing triage time, raising fix-it-right-the-first-time rates, influencing higher driver retention and driving unrivaled uptime and asset utilization, all while gaining an unprecedented connection to their customers,” Hyatt said.
He said the tool is being used by truck makers Mack Trucks, Volvo Trucks North America, Paccar Inc., Isuzu and tire maker Michelin.
Mack and VTNA are units of Volvo Group.
Paccar is the parent company of Kenworth Truck Co. and Peterbilt Motors Co.
Explore does not require additional integration and allows users to develop custom reports and analyses without dependence on lengthy design and development timelines, according to the Glen Allen, Va.-based company.
Decisiv four months ago achieved the milestone of having had 10 million service events managed on its SRM platform.
On the day of the MCE announcement, Decisiv showed a slide that put the most recent number of service events at 11.6 million.
Meanwhile, the company launched Fleet Mobile, which enables fleet owners and asset managers to request, review and manage service and repair events on a smartphone or tablet.
“As people become less tied to their desks, the demand for data and information on the go has dramatically increased,” Hyatt said.
